TWO MORE DAYS!!!!

Well its only 2 days away!  I cant believe it got here so quickly!!  I am excited, anxious, not so nervous, yet anyway, and somewhat scared!  Not so scared persay of the outcome but of the pain involved.  I have never had surgery and then to just jump in head first to abdominal surgery scares me about the pain b/c as my wife says, I am a wimp when it comes to pain and i'd have to say i tend to agree with her.  I know I will have the pain meds and will use them as needed, but still.  I just cant wait for it to be over and done so the pain is no longer there.  Anyway, I really cant wait to get this done.  I know that this will be the second best decision I have ever made, the first being me asking my wife to marry me.  She has been my rock and my support with this along with everyone here.  I appreciate all the support and answers to all of my questions.  I cant wait to take my spot on the bench with the rest of you.  Michele (my wife) will be posting for me after surgery to let everyone know how it went.  Again that you to everyone for the support and well wishes.

I wish you the best of luck! I am right around the corner with you as my surgery is for Tuesday Oct 13th. I have all of the same emotions so you are not alone. Your wife seems like she will be just the perfect person to be with you during this journey. I am just as blessed to have my husband there to support me as well. I cannot wait to hear about how  you are doing and remember pain is temporary, keep looking ahead!

I told you it would be here before you know it!! 

Just do what the docs tell you and you'll be fine.  I was so worried about the pain, as well, but it was managable.  Just ask for the pain meds when you need them and REST!!  Your body needs the rest to heal!

Can't wait for you to get on the Loser's bench with us!
