hey everyone-

Wow time is flying by! I lurk all the time exspecially now since I am out of work due to a broken ankle,{ which is healing from surgery by the way!) Three screws later! lol Well On sept 27,2009 will be 3 yrs for me!! yeah!! I lost a total of 120 pounds! Then I noticed I was gaining in 2008 and gained almost 30 pounds, well went back to the nutritionist and all, got back on track and as of today I have only 9 pounds to get back to my lowest weight after wls! Saw Dr.Ryder yesterday and she was impressed at how well I was doing! I started at 327 and now am 223! I started at the gym a couple of weeks ago and hubby and I go 3 times a week for an hour or 2 depending! Well congrats to everyone, and I just wanted to give a quick holla!

Congratulations Shannon!  What a terrific story!  I love it!  You tell of struggle and success!  That is awesome.  There are so many of us out here who's weightloss has slowed and need to know that the options we have really do work.  I know i plan on sticking with my nutritionist.  I can fall back on bad habits easily and you show how important it is to keep your nutritionist in touch.  Thank you for your testimonial!   Take care and congrats on you surgiversary!!!     Eldy

Sorry,  got so excited, I forgot to say sorry to hear about your ankle.  Thats awful.  My daughter has broken her ankle before ( not to the extent of surgery) and you never know  how important that cotton picin' ankle is until you can't use it.   Hope your recovery goes quickly!  Take care!    Eldy

Sorry to hear about your ankle.  Way to go on using your tools to get back on track.  Thank you for sharing your story it is such a good reminder that this is a lifelong commitment and making those changes permanent is going to take continued commitment and determination.  I have a way to go and the weightloss is slowing down so your story helps me so much.  Thanks again and happy healing!  Keep fighting the good fight.

Hi Shannon!!!!

You're doing so well! I'm so proud of you! I hope Rich is taking really good care of you! Must suck to have a bad ankle when you're in the photography bizz.

BTW, our next post-op support group meeting is Wednesday, October 21st. You know I'd love to see you there!

You have my number, call me if you need anything.
