Hey everyone!  Things are really quiet on the board, so I decided to post.  I am going to see Dr. Giovanni for my check up today.  I am in my seventh month post surgery.  I hope everything goes well.  The only thing I am really concerned about are the vitamin levels.  I feel great and am happy with the weightloss  results so far.  But, you never know what they are going to tell you when the blood work comes back!  I will let you know how it goes.
My weightloss has slowed ALOT!  But on the other side of that is that I am not doing the exercise I should be!  I still go to karate twice a week, and I still park away of stores and use stairs instead of elevators, but I do not really do any other exercise ( I THINK about  doing exercise alot).  And if I would just get off my butt and do it, my weightloss would get better!   So   that said..  I am going to end this and go for a walk.   PROMISE!!     Hope everyone is doing very well!!
your friend,  Eldy

You are soooo right!  Truer words have never been spoken.  And you know, after you do it, you feel great!  Like a major accomplishment has occured!  How can one NOT go for it, knowing that you're going to get that "high".  I DID go for a walk and i loved every minute of it!!  My kids got me a Richard Simmons DVD and my son and I are going to do it.  Thanks so much for your encouragment!    Eldy

Hey Eldy!

How'd you appointment go? How was your walk?

I notice my weight loss slowed down around 6-7 months out as well. I got so used to scaling it and seeing huge results then slid into the inevitable and slowed right down.

Unfortunately, we have to do what most 'normal' people do and stay off our bums and do the "E" word. Yuck! But necessary!

You're doing great!

Jules
