Hi my friends!

Hey everyone! Just checking in to let everyone know I am still around and still (hopefully) working towards surgery!! I went to my endocringologist today and my TSH (thyroid) is down from 22 to 13. Better, but still not less than 5 like it needs to be. He switched my meds, upped the dose and told me not to get my hopes up, but that this might do it. I have to wait 7 weeks to rerun the bloodwork, and then I will see him the week after on Sept 30 for my follow up. Hopefully I will get good news at that appt and can go ahead and reschedule my surgery. We'll see.......

Otherwise, just hanging in there. It was great to see the people I saw at Jules pool party and I am going to really try and make the next meeting! Hope everyone else is doing well!!

 Hvae you noticed any difference now that you are taking the medication?  Higher energy levels?  Some weight loss?

It was great seeing you and the girls at the party. I really hope you can make the meeting. I have many hugs in store just for you!

So, maybe by the end of the year, you'll have some great news about proceding with surgery....or....perhaps after the TSH levels out, you won't even need the surgery! Maybe you'll start losing and becoming more healthy without the surgery!
