Hey there!  congratulations on your success!   What I do when I don't know how long it will be before I can eat something that right for me, I carry an Atkins Protein Bar with me (  smores flavor is my favorite)  It has ( I blieve) 15 grams of protein.  I can eat usually 1/2 and be full.  At least that will hold me over until i can get some real food in.
Just a suggestion.   Eldy

Mr. Rhody!

Congrats on the weight loss!

I had a friend who was a traveling salesman.  He was on the road 4 days a week.  He hated eating out all the time, plus the calories were increasing his waistline, too!  He started purchasing the canned soup, fruit and veggies and carrying it with him.  There was always a microwave in his hotel room so he could warm the soup and veggies up and a fridge to keep the fruit cold.  He also carried a small cooler, too, with ice packs to keep his leftovers cool until he could eat the following evening.

Protein shakes might make a good lunch, every once in awhile, too.

I hope this helps.

Congrats on your wt loss. I am slowing down now, but hope to pick up once I get back to RI...I think I will finally be back this coming week, but we will see.

As for the traveling, I heard of a microwave that will use the cigarette lighter of your car! It is called the Wavebox. It is not big, but will heat up some food while you are on the road. My husband works for Pepsi, so he is always needing a good meal. He makes all the Dagwood sandwiches, but a nice heated leftover meal hits the spot on the cooler days.

Hope that helps!
