My surgery got postponed!
Well that sucks!
So much for co-miserating, now here's the pep talk... It's just a speedbump, girl. Move right on past it. Friday will be here in like no time and the more you can lose before surgery, the better everything after will be anyways. (Yeah, I know, sounds like blah blah blah when you've had it up to here with drinking broth!) Just sleep alot, that's what I did. Getting caught up on rest can only be a help and it will make the time go quicker.

RNY 6/16/09 - Last weighed 10/27/2011 weighed 151 lost 52 pounds 66% toward personal goal of 125, six pounds from unofficial unpretentious goal of 145lbs......basically very happy. boo-rah, RNY!
Oh Marcia!!!
I'm so sorry to hear this!!!
I would be so upset but you're right...there IS a reason for everything! We don't always know that reason until we get through the fire though.
I think things will go just fine for you on Friday.
When I read these posts, I start from the bottom and work my way up. I had already posted that I was thinking of you during your surgery today.
Let's think of positive things about not having surgery today....
You can go for a long walk
You can take your before surgery measurements (ankle to neck)
You can have someone take more before pictures of you
You can cook some healthy foods you enjoy, puree them and freeze them in ice cube trays (each cube is 1 oz) for when you're ready for them post-op
You can start a journal
You can view the You Tube video that Romeo suggested earlier http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GePUJa5Mg84
You can spend another non-post-op day to spend with your beautiful family
God Bless!
Jules
