Ok , I've been craving salad, when do you think I could try it?  The guy at work has brought in fresh lettuce from his garden and I'm tempted to try it.  I haven't had problems with many foods, what does everyone think?

Thanks for you input...

You should be at least 10 weeks out in my opinion and make sure to chew, chew, chew.  My Nut suggested that I try a really crunch lettuce first like endive to see how it went.  As long as that goes well and you chew well you should be ok.

Hi Kris!

As long as you're eating a full solids diet, you are ready to try salads.

I've never had a problem with salad but some people have had issues with lettuce, celery and carrots.

Small bite, chew well, try it at home first!

And don't forget your protein first!

Enjoy!

Thanks Jules, I plan on trying a nice salad this weekend... I will remember to chew, chew and chew some more...

Hopefully I will see you at the next RWH meeting.

Thanks
Kris
