Dr. Pohl patients, how long do you stay in the hospital?

He told me 3 days.  I'm going in tomorrow at 11:30 am.  Does three days mean Wed, Thu, Fri and I go home on Fri? Or does it mean Wed. nite, Thu. nite, Fri. nite and go home Sat.?  Thanks, Marcia

3 days means that if you tolerate the water and no nausea, then you go home on Friday.  But if you have you some nausea, they will probably keep you one more day.  Just to make sure everything is good.   Good Luck and be well!  Eldy

I had my surgery on a Tuesday morning and was discharged Friday morning. I had no issues at all.
