Dr. Pohl: how long to get 2nd appt?

Hi,
Roughly how soon after you finished all your testing, appointments, etc. did you get a call from the office to schedule the second appointment? I have the last appointment tomorrow. Any guesses as to when I might get an appointment? I know this is probably as accurate as asking the Magic 8 Ball, but I figured it's worth a shot just to hear from other people.

Also, does anyone know when Dr. Pohl and Dr. Giovanni's website will be ready?

I don't know about the website, but I do know that Dr. Pohl said to take copies of all the results from every test and bring them to his office. Often times the doctors are slow in getting him the information. He won't schedule your second appointment until he has all of the needed information. You can call the office and check to see if they have everything. If not, you can usually call whichever place you need to and either pick up a copy or ask them to get them to Dr. Pohl. Once all of that is in hand, I think it was only a few days before they called me. But I bugged them a little too, so I can't be sure.

I agree with Robyn completely. Bring your own copies of each specialist's visit!

Also, your second appointment will not happen until your insurance approves you!

Contact Cheryl at Dr. Pohl's office to see what you can do to assist her in making this happen more quickly. This will usually take up to to weeks or so. Once you know the office has submitted your paperwork to your insurance company, call the insurance company...a lot.

The website is probably going to be a while. I'll be sure to post as soon as it's ready! I'm looking forward to it too.
