Had to switch surgeons

Has anyone had their surgery with Dr. David T. Harrington?   Originally I had Dr. Ryder but she had to go on maternity leave and unless I wanted to wait 3 more months I had to switch to her collegue.

I haven't, but Dr. Ryder has me scheduled for August 3rd.  Would you want to wait one more month so you could be with who you know?  I had the same option, and opted to wait because I like Dr. R. so much and didn't want to go with someone new.

I did breeze by Dr. H. in the hallway when I saw Dr. R. in April.  He smiled at me and said hello -- kinda personable I thought for not even knowing me.

I don't know Dr David Harrington but his wife Lisa is my Rhuematologist and she is great! I have heard very good things about her husband as well.
