I just got Eating Well After Weight Loss Surgery -- a cookbook.  There are over 140 low carb, high protein recipes in the book.  There is even a section on what to stock your pantry with, and other helpful tips.

Hi Linda,

It's great that you're thinking ahead!

I would love to read the recipes you come up with.

I've posted some of my favorite homemade recipes on www.sparkpeople.com. They are listed under the name Gramma Nolan.

Feel free to try them out. Yummy!

A couple other great recipe books are:

Recipes for Life After Weight-Loss Surgery by Furtado & Schultz

The High-Protein Cookbook by Linda West Eckhardt & Katherine West Defoyd

I get some really good ideas for my own recipes by looking at these. I'm not a recipe follower...I'm a recipe creator!

Have fun!

Hi Linda,

I get all my books from www.Amazon.com.

I get really good prices (including S&H) by buying them there.

Hope this helps until you're allowed to drive.

*wink*
