1st day home
hey everyone.... i am home!!!!!!!!!!!
everything went according to plan. i had text book lap RnY surgery on tuesday the 19th with no complications. it definately wasn't as bad as i thought it would be. a little discomfort at first but nothing you wouldn't expect with abdominal surgery. had a hard time getting my fluids in the next day, but i think i was just a bit apprehensive, but i went slow... a little too slow caused me an extra day in the hospital, but no biggie...just for precautions so i wouldn't start off on the wrong foot and be dehydrated. the only thing i ended up with was an inflammed saliva gland...not sure why, but i did..on antibiotics for it, and the swelling has gone down some.. just keeping an eye it.
i am so happy to say i had 2 of my new friends stop in to visit... that totally made my night. it felt so good to know i have others out there that are having the same experiences or at least similar experiences...lol and they came by to share the love with me!!!!

i am home now, and still a bit tired, but nothing major...i must say the first thing i did was take a shower... that made me feel like a brand new person.
if anyone had any quesstions while the answers are still frwsh...bring em on... i am so here to help anyone i can..just want to give back what i can..

I am so glad all went well. I am sorry I didn't make it over to see you. Work has been really crazy this past week with 3 people leaving and then we been down to one car this week in my house. Welcome to the biggest loser bench. I bet it feel real good to be home. Just remember keep walking and sipping. I have a feeling your gonna do great. Can not wait to read your story. All is well here Chip goes back to work on Tuesday . Dr.Pohl said all is going well with his band. I am only 2lbs from my goal weight. whooohoooo. So life here is good. Keep in touch and again I am sorry I didn't get to see you.
