Question I forgot to ask Dr. Pohl...

For those of you that are Dr. Pohl's patients, how long did you stay in the hospital for the RnY surgery? (provided there were no complications).  I forgot to ask him at my last visit and I'm just trying to get everything in order before surgery.  Thanks!  Marcia

I am scheduled for RNY with Dr. Pohl on June 2 and he told me 3 days in the hospital. 

My mom was in for 5 but she had some trouble keeping her shake down. I believe he keeps you for 3 days.

hi Marcia!   I had Dr. Giovanni ( same office and same rules).  Generally, if everything goes the way it should...  3 days.  And usually out of work for about 4 weeks.   but that is negotiable for each indivdual.   I hope that helps you out.  Good luck!  Your in great hands!  Eldy

 3days  unless some problem come up like with me when taking me off on pain medication for the other I got sick so I had to stay 3 more days.   But the stay is to be 3 days

I was in for 3 days

3 days! I had surgery on a Tuesday morning and I was released to go home Friday morning. Good luck!
