Trying to stay optimistic

hey all,   I haven't really brought anyone up to date with me.  I have been pretty frustrated and trying to stay optimistic.  I haven't lost any weight for about 3 weeks now.   I have been following the eating strategies and all.  I still go to karate, but the walking has been kind of sporadic.  With everyone's schedule in the house, its hard to squeeze in that "me" time I keep telling them I need.  I did start back at the gym yesterday, so I am hoping that will kick in the weight loss.  I was hoping to have lost more weight before my sister gets here on Sunday.  She lives in Florida and hasn't seen me since way before the surgery.  She is, of course, really concerned about me having had the surgery, so I wanted to show her how good I look and FEEL now that I am off most of my meds and all.  But hopefully, with this that Ihave accomplised, will be enough to impress her.  I know I am not supposed to do this for anyone but myself, but she is my big sister and I have been the little naive sister who can't make a really good desicion without her imput ( which I did not get for the surgery).  Wish me luck.  I will let you know how it goes.  Meanwhile, I am still WORKING  at this weightloss.  Oh by the way... I am still getting smaller, however, the clothes are getting bigger.  So I know it is still going on.  Just not in numbers.  Ugh!        Ok,  done whining.... for now.  LOL

Thank you, Cathy, that meant alot to me.  Sometimes you just need to hear it from a friend.   By the way,  I promise I won't tell my sister I got encouragement from another big sister!! LOL    Thanks again!   Eldy

I agree with Cathy, sis will just have to get over herself. You have made the right decision for you and your are successful so thumbs down to her.
I bet she notices and is very happy for you though. Let us know how it goes.
