Congrats Linda,
I quite smoking in October so I know what you are going thru, some nights I just went to bed early so I wouldn't crave...I ate M & M's LOL... and sucked on straws.
Good luck, you can do it... and just think $7.00 $8.00 bucks a pack... crazy....

Hi Linda!

What a monumental accomplishment! To do the pre-op diet AND quit smoking all at once! Whoa!

July 9th will be 9 years since I quit smoking! As tough as it was, I'm so glad I went through it.

I, personally, would advise you to call Dr. P if you are really having a tough time with the pre-op diet.  I do not suggest substituting anything for a shake. You really need that protein.

If you're looking for that little extra something to chew on, popsicles and sugar free jello are the best options.

You WILL get through this. One minute at a time if necessary!

Hey, while you were reading this, another minute just flew right by!!!

GREAT JOB!!!

Don't forget to PM me your last name so I can come see you on the 20th!

Jules
