Hey there Peeps!
Looks like a fantabulous wonderful weekend coming up!!!!
We're meeting at Slater Memorial Park, 401 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket for our regular 11 a.m. Sunday walk!!!
Walk fast, walk slow...bring the kids! Bring the pups! As long as you bring yourselves!
If you're coming but running late, call me (401) 481-4339, we'll wait for you!
Enter at the 401 Newport Avenue entrance.
Stay straight (you will pass the ball fields, the kids' park, the animal shelter & the basketball hoops) to the end (you'll have no choice but to go left). We will meet at the first parking lot on the left!

Hi Kelly Jo,
I completely understand what you're going through. I have osteoarthritis in my hips and degenerative disc disease in my lower back and neck.
Prior to having RNY, I was in so much pain I couldn't walk without either two canes, a walker or a person to assist me. This was the MAIN reason I had my surgery.
Now, I walk 4 miles every other day or so! With a cane but on my own!
Let's talk!

I learned about 3 months ago that I have bulging disks in my lower back along with spinal stenosis. I fell in December (remember all that horrible ice??) and it's gotten progressively worse.
My GP stated that WLS would help considerably with the pain relief, along with all the other health issues. I left that appointment but have been seriously thinking about it for the past few months and I've been reading everything I can get my hands on since!
Congrats on being able to walk so much and with no help!
I'd be happy to chat! I hope to make it to a walk soon!
