some WOW moments!!

Hi all! I just had to share. I am really excited. I went to my Diabetes doc Friday and found out that my A1C has gone from 8.4 (pre-surgery) to 6.7!!!!! That is amazing! I have struggled with that test for soooo long. I just can't believe it! Then my blood pressure was 90/62!! Talk about a shocker!! So today I saw my PCP and asked about getting off one of my 3 blood pressure meds. He took me off of 2 of them!!!! I am so stoked!! This is really happening. I just have to pinch myself. Is there any doubt that I did the right thing? NOT ONE BIT!!!
ok. I'm done. I feel better now. Just had to let it out. Thanks.

Eldy ~ Hello. Such great news to let out. The scale victories are great and the non-scale victories can be wonderful too. Getting off meds and blood work certainly gives us the concrete evidence that we have indeed the right decision to get on the road to better health. Continued wishes of wellness to you!

Congrats!!!! That is the best news I've heard, loosing weight is great too , but to get off meds is even better....Best of Luck...soon you'll only be on vitiams...:)
