Congrats on your weightloss!!  One of my friends who had this surgery 5 years ago said to me, "its like being a baby all over again.   Babies start with formula and move to mushy cereals and pureed food (baby food) and  then on to food with more substance.  We have to think of our stomachs like that.   I did Greek yogurt (still do). I like Chobani.  It has 14g/15g of protein.  But I am not a fan of pureed foods.  So I would put a small bite of something ( say a meatball bite) and chew it to a consistency of puree before I swallow it.  Thats important.   Also, one thing I do which keeps me on track is a write everything down on a steno pad ( each page a different day).  I use one section for my meds ( make sure I take them), one section for protein grams ( make sure I get at least 60g) and one section for liquids ( at least 60 oz).  This way I know at the end of the day i got all of my requirements in.   I swear I have the worlds worst memory.
Thats it.  Those are the things I do.  I hope it helps.  Maybe give you some ideas.  If I know the members of this website, you will get a variety of suggestions and I will be anxious to hear some myself!!  Good luck to you!   Although I think you are doing awesome!!    Eldy

I am also on puree foods, I did grilled chicken with fat free gravy, it went down well, only 1/2 cup.  I have also been puree caned soups, not bad at all, of course greek yougurt with pieces of fruit, I've tried peaches, and pinapples I wash them 1st in case they are too sweet.  Of course cream of wheat nothing exciting, cant wait to try more within the next week or so...
Great hint with recording protein, liquids and food, I've been writing down what I eat only I am going to start keeping track of vitiams and liquid intake....
Well good luck , keep us updated on new foods that you try, I am in the same boat...:)

Chris ~ Hello there.  Great to hear you're doing well post-op.  Will send you a PM with some recipe ideas that another OH member sent me a while back of things she had collected.  You may also want to check out this link - http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/.  Shelly is another OH who has a great page where you can search for plenty of ideas.  Hope that info helps.  Continue on the road to wellness.

Sounds yummy! Congrats on the weight loss so far! that is incredible!!  Makes my 6 lbs seem insignigicant LOL!!!

I made a delish ham and blackbean soup - recipe is on my blog if you want to try.  I need flavor too!! I love good food so I am not about to be eating boring things!

For dinner tonight I am making homemade meatballs will sweet sausage and gravy (red sauce) for the family.  I may mix some sauce with 1/2 a meatball and either ricotta or cottage cheese and blend it.  Or even add some steamed summer squash too.

Keep up the good work!!!  Cannot wait to see what a whole month gives us!

You may want to try some fat free gravy as well.  It saved me.  You will get creative.  I also mixed baby food veggies with my meat.  Just make sure you puree it.  Good luck!
