Just got home about an hour ago!

Hi Jo!
So, how are things for you today? There's a beautiful weekend ahead of us. Make sure you get out and enjoy it. Walk around the yard or just walk to your curb and back a couple times. You'll feel great knowing you did something for yourself for that day.
As long as you're staying hydrated and "working" at getting your protein in, that's what counts right now. If you can't handle pureed, it's okay to step back and go thinner...as long as you're getting it in! Then slowly but steadily move onto the thicker.
Also, don't forget that RIH offers their post-op patients a dietary post-op program the first Wednesday of each month. Call Dr. Roye's office or Sue Manchester (401) 640-2999 for details. It's a good idea to stay in touch with your nutritionist on a regular basis as well.
Welcome to the losers' bench!
Jules
