I feel mostly great! I have been out of the house everyday since I have been home - walking around and stuff. I had one day-yesterday where by the end of the day I felt sick to my stomach. I think it is because I was out and didn't eat (I was at the mall with my mil and her friend with my kids and the food court just does not cut it for liquefied puree) I did bring a 20 oz protein shake that I sipped on all day but I think I did not have enough calories. When I went home I ate 4 tbs of cream of broccoli soup but still felt naseus - an hour or so later I ate 4 tbs of cottage cheese with a tsp of NSA strawberry jam and felt much better.
I am really having a difficult time with the liquid puree stage. I am finding the textures of things revolting. I know I am eating things thicker than I should but I just cannot stomach them else wise. What I ate was a couple teeny bites of scrambled egg and when I had the cottage cheese I didn't puree it first, I chewed it forever though. The thought of having to eat liquified puree for 6-8 weeks is horrifying to me. Any tips on getting through it?
