I know I am still pre-op but that health class is fresh in my mind!!  I think so.  Maybe you can add some gravy watered down with broth to the mashed taters to give it a thinnner consistency.  Add some broth to the squash too, to do the same.  Liquified Pureed is the key - so youhave to make sure it would be able to travel through a straw.

Hi Romeo,
I know it was 2 weeks before they let me have cottage cheese or cream of chicken soup.  I would give your NUT a call and ask what they think if it would be safe for you.  They would know best .  You want to go slow trust me I tried turkey chili 3 week out and ended up back in hospital for 3 more days.   So really do what the NUT tell you they know best everyone is differ ant.

Hi Romeo ~

I think those things would be fine - I agree with some gravy to help make it more watered down.  Take it slow - I used a baby spoon to eat small bites at that point after surgery.

Happy Easter!
