bittersweet wow moment

Well I should be jumping for joy right now, but unfortunately it's a rather sad moment.

I just got a new black dress in a size 12 from Kohl's.  It has fitted short sleeves, kind of low cut in the front with a wrap design, and a tie belt around the waist.  It flares slightly at the hips and is knee length.  A very fitted / hugging material and I like how I feel in it.  You don't see all the excess skin and I feel like a "normal" person in it.

Unfortunately, I had to buy this dress to wear for a funeral.  My husband's grandfather passed away unexpectedly on Monday night and we have the wake tonight and funeral tomorrow.  I realized I had no clothes that fit that would be appropriate to wear for memorial services.  

So while I'm excited about how I look in the dress, I'm very sad why I have to wear it

So sorry you have lost a love one.  Its really hard when it happens so unexpectedly too.  My thoughts and prayers are with you.  I am sure you look absolutely gorgeous in the dress and I think your grandfather will be smiling down at you and saying  " I am so proud of you.
