Can someone please explain what an angel is......

and how do I get one?  I just had my paperwork submitted to insurance and am waiting for approval.   Thanks, Marcia

an angel is a person who takes care of your blog and your updates on the oh site. they are also your cheerleader and confidant while you are in hospital having you surgery. to further explain, go into search at the top of the oh page, and type in what is an angel, hit the orange arrow and a page will pop up. at the top of the page you will find your answer. click on it and it will explain your question in full.

For me, an Angel is someone whom you can relate to, confide in and who is available to you at all times to answer questions and guide you along your journey.

I love my Angel! I chose her to be my Angel because I admire her strength and her commitment to her WLS journey. We have become really good life-long friends. I don't know what I would have done without her during my early stages!

Because my hubby hates doing anything online, she also posted how my surgery and recovery went for all my friends here on OH. And, not required, she was at my bedside when I awoke from my surgery too!

It doesn't matter how far along the journey he or she is. If they have something you 'want' and are willing to help you get it too, ask them to be your Angel!

You can post who your Angel is on your profile. Go to My OH; Settings; Status.

Hi I happen to come across this thread and was hoping someone can tell me where I can join a support group in RI? I had gastric bypass 6 months ago, and I feel like I dont have anyone to  talk to about it. Thanks :)

Julie runs a great group on the third Wednesday of every month at 7pm at Roger Williams.  It is held in the back of the cafeteria in a conference room there.
