I had gotten this recipe on the RNY board from a friend of mine....no JULES it wasn't a female friend either....  I made them last week and they taste great. I didnt have a 9 X 13 pan at the time so they didnt form that well...but the taste was UNREAL.  They also helped out with keeping things moving along nicely due to the fiber content.   I have since purchased the correct size pan and will make some at Jules's next meeting.....I'm so domestic!  ha  I wanted to share it with my family here...enjoy!!  I used 3/4 cup of PB and 1 full teaspoon of cinnamon....you can cut the bars up differently to reduce the calories and so forth...  ENJOY!!!

3 cups dry old fashioned oatmeal
4 scoops vanilla protein powder
1/4 cup bran
1/4 cup golden flax seeds--use the meal(crushed seeds)
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup milk
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter (I have used PB2, but the bars don't stick together too well)

optional:

1/4 cup sesame seeds (Penzeys sells these in one lb bags for a reasonable price)
1/4 cup almonds and/or sunflower seeds
1/4 cup millet

mix together the dry ingredients first
add milk and PB, stir for two minutes
spread mixture out in 9 x 13 pan
sprinkle with Splenda
refrigerate
divide into 8 (you could adjust this too)

approx 325 calories/bar (more if you add nuts)
14 grams protein
10+ grams fiber
