Yes, I'm still alive and well!
Hello all my old friends, and welcome to all the new people here!
Sorry I have been so out of touch lately. I really have been busy with, well you name it! Master Gardeners (4 projects), PTA commitments, working from time to time, and planning my mom's 75th birthday party, which we just had this past weekend. Family in from all over the country. It was great! But I'm happy it's over and I can get on with life at a more normal pace.
First, Congrats to all you new folks who are progressing along, and getting your dates!! Speaking from my experience, you will love your new life!
And for all my old friends, I miss you, and am so happy to read about all your successes! I love seeing how you have reclaimed your lives, and that you are celebrating the fruits of your labor. It really does feel awesome!!
I just celebrated my 6 month surgiversary, and I am including a couple of photos here....one is a before photo from 2005....the other was taken on Sat nite, just before heading to my mom's b-day party. I am wearing a size 14, down from 22-24. Shopping off the misses rack instead of the Womens! I love it! I have to say, I didn't even wear hose under this dress, I didn't need any under "armor"...hahaha!! Yay me! (hope the photos come thru- if not, they are in my profile). I still have a long way to go, but I am getting there one pound at a time.
Huggs to you all...Hope to see you at the RW mtg this Thurs nite. I can't make the Weds nite mtgs, but I am always at the Thurs ones.
