March Living Life Group Meeting Reminder!

Hello Everyone!!

Our March meeting is in two days!

         Wednesday, March 18, 2009

                       7PM - 9PM

        Roger Williams Medical Center

              In The Greene Lounge

            (follow the bright yellow signs)

                825 Chalkstone Ave

                   Providence, RI

Since this is the first month of Spring, we will be centering this month's meeting on 'New Beginnings'! It'll be a great time to discuss how our lives have changed since surgery!

Those of us who want to participate will be bringing in our 'before' clothes! Please bring 'before' photos of yourselves. I will bring my laptop and scanner so we can digitize any hardcopy photos you have so you can have them on disc.

I will also be taking pictures of anyone who would like to have their photos added to our new 'Look at Me' board.

Dr. Pohl & Dr. Giovanni will be starting up a web site in the near future. If you are a patient of their's and would like to have your before and after/current photos added, please let me know. I will be sure to get your digitized photos to them immediately.

We are having a clothing exchange! Please bring clean, gently worn clothing you no longer need/want/use to give to others who can use them. There, I'm sure, will be something available for you to take home as well!

If you wish not to bring any clothes back home with you, I will take them and donate them in the Living Life Group name to a charity we all decide on at the meeting.

May 20, 2009  Dr. Dieter Pohl, MD (Doctor or Medicine), FACS (Fellow, American College of Surgeons). Well known Bariatric Surgeon. Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery/General Surgery.Dr. Pohl will be our guest and will be available to discuss post-op questions we may have.

June 17, 2009  I will be asking my Nutritionist, Heather Gagliardi to return!

Mark your calendars!!! I am planning our annual 'WLS Pals / Living Life Group' pool party at my house for Saturday, July 25th! We had a great day last year with our families and friends! Let's do it again!
