Hi everyone!

I'm getting excited about shopping for summer clothes.  I actually have to shop earlier than planned because hubby & I are taking 2 cruises in the next two months.  We are doing a 4-night cruise on April 16th out of Miami to Key West, Cozumel, and a sea day.  Then on May 8th we leave for a 7-night cruise to Bermuda to celebrate our graduation; we graduate the day after we get home with our masters degrees from ENC.

So I have already started picking up some things, not too much just enough to cruise with.  I am hoping not to be in the same sizes come June / July.  So far I got a two pairs of CK capris and 3 pairs of shorts in a size 12.  Almost in a 10 though, but they are 100% cotton and since I send my laundry out to be done there is a good chance they could shrink.  Biggest issue is finding shirts that have short sleeves, but long enough to cover up my arms ....... hate those tiny cap sleeves.

Angela, I think that dress you mentioned might work out perfect.  We have reservations at one of the specialty resteraunts for our April cruise and it will be formal.  I'll check it out at your meeting next weekend.

Oh yeah, I bought a bathing suit and actually like how it looks on me (minus the bat wings).   Would never have thought I would be comfy in a bathing suit

Maybe we should all plan a field trip to Wrenthem to shop?  Any takers?  Sundays are best days for me.

Hey Sue!

Congrats to both of you receiving your Masters! What a great accompishment!

I'm not looking forward to shopping for summer clothes at all! The excess skin on my legs bothers me. the bat wings too but not quite as much. I'll be wearing capris all summer, I think.

But if I have to go shopping, Wrethem sounds great! Especially with people who understand!

See you soon!

Jules
