Update on "they think I'm crazy"

Hi everyone....happy Wed. I just got back from my 3rd meeting with the Behavior Therapist.On Monday I got a call from Dr Sax office asking me if I wanted to cancel my appt. this week re: my report from psyche 3 weeks ago.(hence the crazy part!!!) Well last week the psyche told me that he doesn't feel that my surgery should be postponed due to some of my eating issues-he would just like to continue working with me. Anyway, Dr Sax wants to meet with me Friday and I'm kinda in a panic.The psyche told me today that he'll be happy to write a letter in favor of me having surgery as planned-he said I'm not the first person who had a problem with psyche report.....albeit, it could mean the others were crazy too.!!!

Anyway, I feel better about my meeting with Dr Sax. And the psyche has been giving me homework every week and I've been really compliant. I actually got on my elliptical today- if you knew me you would know that's HUGE!!!! Sorry so long, thanks for being here for me to vent.~~~~~Kim

Kim ~ Hello. Vent away.....that's what this forum can help us all do. It's a way for us to get info, discuss frustrations, share ideas, etc. Glad to read you're feeling better about your upcoming appointment and that you'll have a note to "carry' with you from psych. Great to hear you're working on yourself with homework and exercise too. Will be thinking all good thoughts for you on Friday.

Thanks Sandy-hope all is well with you and your dad. I've never personally been in the situation but in my career have seen many family struggles. Take it one day at a time.I'll let you know how I make out tomorrow~~~~~~Kim
