Onward!
J:
I think I've had to temper my anxiousness since I got the word in January that my insurance will cover the procedure. The next thing the surgeon's secretary told me was the surgeon was going on maternity leave April - July so it was realistic to look at August as the timeframe I could get banded. That has definitely kept me mellow!

Man, you are better than me! I am not keeping this anxiousness saddled at all!
I had to do the 6 month diet - started in july, I was approved in like 3 days... on Dec 17th and I didn't even get my paperwork from Dr. royes office until January and then my final test was scheduled for Feb 11 - and I couldn't make the appointment with the surgeon until I completed the tests, So I called on Feb 11 and naturally the surgeon was going to be out of town so my appointment is not until the 16th of March!! So that is 9 months of waiting right there!! My surgery date better be in April or I am going to pull my hair out!!! (of course it is going to fall out after surgery so I am damned if I do and damned if i don't!!)

I think anxiousness is good, as long as it doesn't manifest in other bad behaviors. If Dr. Ryder wasn't going out on leave, we'd probably be having surgery around the same time, and I'd probably be sharing in your anxiousness. Hope your appt on Monday goes well!!
