Love me for me not for what I looked like.  We both desided to have this surgery do to the fact that we want to live an old age together.  It was the best move I could have ever made.

I work for RWMC for there homecare have been there 15 year now.  In my extra time I love to now go to the gym .  I love to spend time with my family and friends. playing cards etc.......  I love to sing.  I also love spending time with my new family that is all you guys.

Hi Liza,   Glad to meet you. Best of luck on March 16th. It will be here before you know it. My husband still says that he is amazed that I didn't back out the morning of the surgery. It took me 2 years to get up the courage to have the endoscopy. My surgery was booked for first thing in the morning and I must say that it wasn't painful at all. I was up by 3:30 and walking the halls. Good luck !!!!!!!!!

Hi everyone.

My name is Sue and I've been married to my husband Matt for over 12 years, and together 17 years now.  Live in Fall River, and Dr. Pohl is my surgeon.  I was banded on 9/19/06 and did great the first year, then went into bander hell and had a lot of issues.  The band was removed on 10/28/08 and I had gastric bypass the same day.   Originally started at 360 in 2006, lost a lot of weight pre-op and was under 300 by the day of banding.  Got down to about 215 and then had to be unfilled and ended up back at 271 the day of bypass.  As of this morning I am 202.   Love my bypass, have no regrets about getting banded and would do it all over again in the same order ..... learned a lot from my band and especially about my weaknesses and how easy you can regain.  Absolutely love Dr. Pohl and highly recommend him.

As for outside of work ...... just recently got laid-off from Home Depot where I was an HR Manager on the district HR team, so I am seeking employement.  Also graduating on May 16th with my masters degree   I'm addicted to Face Book since getting laid off, and spend a lot of time exercising these days.  I goto Planet Fitness, use Wii Fit, and ride that mountain bike my hubby gave me for Valentine's Day  .... those little seats were not meant for my big butt.

Might not have a job but I am still planning vacations.  Leaving for Bermuda on May 8th for a week long cruise (Boston to Bermuda) to celebrate our graduation, we come home the day before.  Also doing souther caribbean on Dec 27th as a family cruise and I soooooooooo hope I will be at goal.  I'll be laying out with my sister who is a size 4 (that's after having 2 kids) and my step-mother who is a size 2.  I can see the harpoons flying at me now
