UGI.........YUK!!!!!!

I just went for my upper GI this am. OMG......I thought I was going to vomit!!!! That stuff is disgusting!!! The worst thing about it is that I'm a nurse and actually make people drink it and say it's not that bad!!! I'm such a liar!!!! The stuff is GROSS!!! On a happier note. It's my last test....I meet with Amy at Dr sax next Tues, wait for insurance approval then...........I get to sit on the loser's bench. The time went by so quick!!!!Happy Snow Day~~~~~~~~Kim

Kim ~ Hello.  Must have felt so good to get that one last thing checked off the list.  It is indeed quite a learning experience when we end up in those role reversal situations.  Does make us truly consider what it's like on the other side.  Will be thinking good thoughts for you next Tuesday.

It is gross, but I didn't think it was that bad!! The after part is horrid.  No one said I needed to use stool softeners or anything.  WHn I had my stress test the next day, I was telling the nurse I had the Upper GI and she told me to take MOM.  Bless her!!!

Then I REALLY became impatient!

Just remember to breathe and try your best to be patient.
