First Meeting With Doctor Tomorrow

Tomorrow is my first meeting with Dr Roye, should I expect a surgery date or am I gonna be disappointed, also do you think he will put me on a liquid diet as of tomorrow, just want to know if I should order Chineese food tonight

Order chinese food tonight - just in case!!  I think the way it works is that you will get a surgery date  -but I am not 100% positive - which is why I need you to let me know everything about the visit!

People have been secretive with the whole process - I need an open book!  What I have gathered from some postings is that you should be getting a date tomorrow!!! WOO WEE about time!!!

As long as Dr Roye ok's all your tests you will get a date. I would not expect a liquid diet tommorow because that's 2 weeks prior. I believe he books about 4 weeks out unless thier is any cancelations but he was on vacation last week thru today so it may be a little longer. You will need a week to get your mind wrapped around the fact it is really happening. Try not to think of the LAST meals because thier is always something else you are going to want..LOL

Good luck!  As long as all is well and you have not gained weight, I would expect a date- at least for the RNY bootcamp.  As far as I know (but I had the band), Dr Roye does not require a 2 week fast.  Just remember- it's not your last time of having chinese ever again- just for a bit, and not pigging out

I didn't have Dr. Roye so I can't help with the surgery date question.

Just want to wish you luck for tomorrow!

And to let you know I've been eating chinese food (meat and veggies only) since I was four months post-op and I'm completely happy!
