surgery
Hello there. I too felt the same nervousness pre-op. As my surgery date approached, felt excitement mixed with questions of am I crazy to let someone reroute my insides. Then I got busy with getting my house ready, the grocery shopping for my post-op pantry and before I knew it my surgery day had arrived.
Think we'd be out of the ordinary if we didn't feel an array of emotion with such a life changing surgery ahead of us.
Wishes of wellness to you.

Hi!
It's great to see you here!
I agree with everyone else about the nervousness. If you're not nervous, you're not in the norm!
I was extremely nervous! But I got busy, just like Sandy, and kept my sights on preparing myself and my family for after surgery.
I also went to every single support group I could get to. It really helped with passing the time, as well as, getting some of my weird questions answered.
Wanna come to our OH outing on March 7th? Check out the details (a few posts before this one).
We're here for ya!
Jules
