Question about Hospital stay
When you are in the hospital (RWGH), are there outlets where they will let you plug things in? Like DVD players or Cell phone chargers, and of course, DS players? I know this is like a silly question, but I just gotta know!! Yes, I am in the planning stage. Already started packing too! Me anxious?? What makes you think that?? Eldy
Hey Eldy!
The rooms are tiny but they do accommodate phone chargers and such. Boy, you plan on being busy, huh?
I hope to come see you while you're there! I am having inner ear surgery at Newport Hospital that day but it's same-day. If I'm not feeling dizzy, I'll be there!!!!!
Bring a good book for quiet time too! And don't forget to get up and walk around as much as possible!
See you Wednesday?
Love ya!

I know I brought my Cell phone charger. I also had a small DVD that I brought with me. If you like I can come see you when your in the hospital. I will not have far to go since I work at the hospital. What date again are you having your surgery? Let me know. So I can come see you. I will even walk with you.
Lisa
Hi all! My surgery date is the 24th of this month. Just 2 Tuesdays away. Thats 9 days from now. Not that I am counting or anything. And of course I would love visiters. Lisa if you get the chance to come up, by all means do! My family will only be there on Tuesday. With my kids schedules, they probably won't be bac****il Friday when i leave. So thats why I was thinking of things to do. Julie, I already have a book picked out, LOL. Oh and the rooms are semi-private. You do have a roommate with 1 tv. So I don't want to be a tv hog!! Thanks for the help. I will bring my DVD player then, and cell phone. Eldy
I don't remember that there were outlets. There were two plugs in the air (midway up the wall) for my IV machine and another plug. There was only a small table and one tv in the room. My IV was hooked down my arm into the top of my left hand so I was kind of tethered to it. I had a hard time getting up and out of the bed or onto my side. My IV pole was on my left arm and my table too. So, i couldn't reach too well with my right hand. Beware of the telephone. It has a cord that cames down over the top of your bed. I would keep having it fall down and it became a pain in the butt to reach it.
I don't know if Drs. Pohl & Giovanni have offices at the hospital, but they do have an office in Johnston on Atwood Ave. Hope that helps.
