Checking in with an update...

Hello all...

Wow!  Lots of new people have joined this room since my last visit!  Welcome and congratulations on your decision to either have WLS or get more information on it.  You've definitely come across a great group of people here to help motivate you, inform you and befriend you.  I know that... and I need to take more advantage of my friends here as well.

You see, I've been in quite the "funk" this past month.  Some personal problems have weighed me down mentally, and I've just not had the ambition to reach out to anyone nor get involved here.  I apologize for that.  We all need each other in our journey down this road of life and toward a healthier body, mind and soul.

So... to update you all... I had my 4th fill this morning.  Last fill (Jan) was only .5cc and I felt hungry ALL month.  And yes.. it was stomach growling hunger, not just the head hunger (although that was there too).  So, this time he put 1cc in and put me up to 6.5cc total.  I'm a little concerned with the possiblity of being too tight, but right now I am not feeling too tight.  We discussed in the office that I am probably very close to my "sweet spot".  I did lose 5 lbs over the last month... even with the stresses and all.  I am looking forward to getting a better handle on my own "life" and having an even more successful month next visit!

Congratulations to the many successes I see going on around me!

And a BIG shout out to my BEAUTIFUL friend Julie!!  Isn't she AWESOME??  Love you, hun!!  You look GREAT in those dresses!!  I'll talk to you soon!

Thanks, Beth.  I had bounced between the same 3 lbs for 5 wks!  Then something happened.... and 5 lbs gone!  Don't ask me.... I haven't figured out how this all works.

What's going on with your band nowdays?

Vicky

Thank you so much for your sweet post, Lisa.  Things are starting to look up, so no more complaining from me, and no more "distance"!

Vicky ~ Hello.  So nice to see your beautiful face back on here again.  Sorry to hear you've had things dragging you down.  But will hope you almost being there at that "sweet spot" will be a turning point.  Will be thinking positive thoughts for you.
