I am going tomorrow AM for a unfill. I have had these terrible chest pains and ACID Re FLUX SOOO bad!!!!I have not throw up or Pb's at ALL!! Last night the slimey , watery mouth put me over the edge!! I go in the AM for a unfill. The kicker is I can eat anything and I never get a stop feeling it is just once I have eaten too much it's like a balloon and nauseous feeling for the rest of the day! URRGG I have not been really loosing any weight either..that may because I have not been to the gym in a while.  I am having this I should have had BYPASS instead of band feeling!!!

Oh Jaime!

I'm so sorry you're going through this!

Although I didn't have the band, I feel your pain Sistah!

I'm crossing my fingers hoping the release of your band will help you. Until then, please be sure you're getting your fluids in and add a protein shake or two for health's sake.

Please let us know how you are after your visit tomorrow.

Call me if you need to vent!

Well I saw the lovley as always Dr roye this AM. NO Unfill!! I have to had a Barium Swallow next Friday to rule out a slip, and if NO slip I have to have a scope to check for issues, Hernia, reflux.... So I am happy no unfill but nervous about the uncertainies. Now I wait a week to find out if I have  a slip. Not sure out of the 3 given I wish I have...NONE!!   Thanks for you support!!

Hi Jaime...

I don't think we've met, but I too have the Realize band and I'm sorry to hear you've had such a struggle with this fill.  I hope the additional tests show no real problems.  Maybe it's only a crotchety band.  You've done a fabulous job so far on your weightloss!!!  Good for you!

I'll be watching for your post test results.  I'm very interested!

Vicky

this barium swallow is much quicker than the one you had prior to your surgery- they don't have to do all the rotating of the table, just basically have you take a few sips while on the table.  I think the longest part of it was getting dressed and undressed.  Good luck to you in finding answers!

Hey Jaime,

Sorry to hear about your band issues, as you know I can relate.  Hoping for you that its nothing serious.  I know you may be feeling frustration, but believe me, the alternative is not any fun.  You just haven't hit that spot where it will all make sense and when you know that the band is your friend.  I still mourn mine.
