This has been a horrible experience, If only I could turn the clock back.
I have very bad pain between my shoulder blades and have had several lung exrays for pnemonia, orthopedic things, nuclear looking for clots, and endoscopy looking for stricture. Nothing seems to be showing up to explain this sharp nagging pain.

Does anyone have any ideas what this might be?

thank you

have you had surgery?  I know I had some pretty sharp pains in my shoulder area for the week after surgery which were from the gas put inside during the surgery to expand your chest cavity.

Thanks for your reply...I wi**** were gas. I'm so afraid that I'll be like this for life.
I'm about 8 weeks out on my surgery.

Hi!

I've had five herniated discs in my neck (three removed thus far). The cervical spine can cause all kinds of pain in all sorts of places. Has anyone checked the discs in your cervical or thoracic spine? I'm assuming the Orthopedic did.

Also, could be muscular?

Please let us know what you find out! I hope you find out soon so you can be out of pain.

Good luck!

Jules

Thanks Jules. Yes all that stuff has been checked.  I had another endoscopy and they found a small ulcer. I've been taking some stuff called...hmm can't remember  chalky stuff that is a prescription and costs $80. It does help a bit which leads me to be more convinced that it is the surgery. Otherwise it wouldn't help I don' t think.

Thanks for your well wishes.
