Update on progress

Hi everyone, well I had my initial appointment with Dr. Giovianni this afternoon. The appointment went great and she told me taht after I get all my other appointments done with she will schedule the surgery! YAY! Have to wait for ok from Harvard Pilgrim also, but I meet all their criteria, so Im very optimistic!

It sounds like you had a great first appointment with Dr. Giovianni. Did she answer all your questions and are you comfortable with everything you have learned so far, if so then your in great hands and I wish you the best.

Hi Cathy,

I have Harvard Pilgrim as well. I checked online for approval and actually found out it was approved online before finding out from the MD office. Either way the approval was super fast - less then a week (including a weekend). My MD office said the HP approvals are the fastest and easiest to get!

I will have to keep my eyes on the HPHC website to see if i can find out before the Dr. also..LOL!
