It's My 2 Year Anniversary

Hi Everyone,

I haven't been here in a while but I just wanted to stop by and say Hi because it is my 2 year anniversary from having surgery!!!    My journey was from 399 lbs to 189 lbs and it has been fantastic.   A most successful trip.

I just want to wish everyone awaiting surgery all the best.  The waiting is the worst part, you won't believe how great you feel after the weight starts falling off.

To everyone who is post op the time will pass quickly.  We all are different but one word of advice.  Don't buy a lot of clothes too quickly.  I made that mistake.  I thought I could not possible loose any more and did not for a while so I bought a new wardrobe, a lot of clothes, and I lost another 25 lbs before if finally settled.

I still get up every day and am thankful for the wonderful opportunity that I got to start over and to spend more time with my wonderful wife and family.  I am forever grateful to Dr Giovanni and Dr. Pohl for their wonderful skills and assistance. Also a great thanks to the people on this forum who helped me pre and post with my questions and their sharing.

Again,  All The Best on your journey.

Hi Tom!

Happy 2nd Anniversary!

Thanks for the advice! Boy, do I have lots of questions for you!!!!

Any chance you can make it to a support group meeting on February 18th?

We have a new group that meets at Roger Williams (in addition the the Thursday night Roger Williams meeting). It's a group that focuses on post-op living. It's aptly named The Living Life Group.

Feel free to send me an email to [email protected] with any questions you may have.

Congratulations on your success! Thumbs Up
