I'm NORMAL ! ! !

Hey my fam!!!

When I started this journey, I was 268 lbs @ 5' 4" tall. I had a BMI of 46!

I have degenerative disk disease and had actually SHRUNK 2 inches due to the DDD and two cervical spine fusions. The weight certainly made a huge (no pun intended) impact on my height too.

I saw my NUT this morning. She measured my height (for the second visit in a row). I am NOW 5' 5" tall!!! I've grown a whole inch in 8 months!

So, this means with a weight of 150 lbs @ 5' 5" tall, my BMI is 24.9!!! That's right!!!! I'M FREAKIN' NORMAL!!!

She also did my fat count and I'm at 30% fat. For my age, height and weight I can have up to 33% and still be normal! So my body fat is NORMAL too!

I just lost it in her office and began crying! I just can't believe it! It's incredible! I've worked so, so hard the past eight months! Eating right, weighing every morning, going to the gym, reading and researching, visiting my AWESOME surgeon and INCREDIBLY wonderful NUT and hitting all those support group meetings....are only a part of it....I don't know where I would be without my wonderful family here!

Thanks for your support, well wishes when I'm sick, your guidance and your love!!

I'm eternally grateful and have made it my passion and priority to 'Pay It Forward'!

Thank you, thank you, thank you so much!

God Bless you all!

Jules
