Had the HIDA test today wasn't bad I slept thru both test the hour and the half hour one, as usual the hardest part was getting the IV in I got alittle woozy, blushes, but after all the horror stories I  heard about the small bed I was lucky they put me on a regular cot was very comfy, so another test down a few more to go wooooohooooo

HI
Im just starting out on this journet, I have my initial appt. with the surgon on 2/2.  I wondered if they give you something to fall asleep? I couldnt just do it on my own..is that where the IV comes in? sometimes I feel so....duh..lol

Don't feel duh, it is all new to all of us also, the IV for this test was to put die into your system but I am sure if you wanted to take something to help you sleep you could. Good luck on your journey if I can be of any help to you please feel free to ask me any questions, if I can't answer them I am sure someone else on the Forum can they are all very knowledgeable and very friendly and helpful to all.

Good Luck

Congrats on getting another test out of the way! Make sure you keep us updated as you go along and I have to comment.....I see you're in Warren! You have to try to make it to the one the gatherings I have here at my house in Bristol on the 3rd Saturday of every month. It just a bunch of us off here who get together and chat and have fun. Sometimes we play Wii or a game ,I promise you'd have a good time and since you're so close I hope you can become a regular here.
If you need info feel free to let me know!
