DR. VITHIANATHAN
Hi SaraBeth,
I do FEEL ya! I would feel upset as well. I have never been seen in their office but I know a lot of people who have.
This is the very first time I've heard of this happening. I'm sorry it has happened to you.
Have you thought that..maybe..just maybe..it's meant to be for you to have your surgery later rather than earlier? I know you're P'd off. Rightfully so. But maybe there is some Divine reason you that don't know about which 'helped' this happen?
Outside of chewing heads and letting Dr. V. know how you feel, maybe you can take this time to...
Do more research
Go to more support group meetings
Get to know more people who have had and will have the surgery
Work on becoming more healthy and better prepared for surgery.
I know six months seems like forever and so far away! I'm seven months post-op and can't believe it's already been seven months! It went by faster than I thought!
Keep breathing.....in......out.....in......out.....that's it!

I go to this office and have not had problems like that at all. I did have some waiting when Meagan was setting up my pre-op appts it seemed to take for ever! but she did get back to me in a day or two each time I called.
Why are they saying you have to wait? Did you do all your pre-op tests? I was told an appt could be made as soon as the pre-op tests were done. I had an appt to see Dr V a few weeks after last test and then had surgery date in a few days. Of course i also had a quick approval from my insurance.
I do have to say I was very pleased with Dr V. he is very cautious as well as thorough.
Please let me know how you make out. Good Luck.
Sue
I don't blame you for your frustration, at all, but I too wonder why the wait?
