Just wondering how long are you out of work after surgery?

Hi Lee,

The time it takes to return to work after your surgery depends upon what you do for work and how you handle the surgery and what surgery you have. Your doctor is the best person to ask about this.

You can also bring it up at meetings to see how others did.

It's good you asked on OH. I'm sure others may be able to let you know how they did!

my dr told me 4-6 weeks went back today 4 weeks after surgery.

I took 4 weeks out - probably could have gone back sooner as I have a desk job - but I was out during the holidays last year - was a busy time of the year and enjoyed being home with the kids.
