Keeping my fingers crossed!

I was around late last summer, when I was certain I'd be banded by now. Turns out I fell victim to bad information from UHC regarding my supposed coverage (I wasn't after they told me I was
).
I was lucky enough in that my company switched to Blue Cross for 1/1/09.
I know someone over there who told me that lapband is covered, so I'm jazzed (but not yet over the moon!). Spoke w/ the surgeon's office today to provide my new BC number so they could confirm coverage. I'm keeping all 20 digits crossed!
In the meantime, I'd like to thank you all for all the information you share. I've made quite a listing of questions for my surgeon based upon what I have read here. Hoping someday soon I'll be able to be one of the gurus sharing the information for the newbies!
