Hey Yall I was just wondering if anyone had a good recipe for Deviled eggs. I know I had them at the Summer pool party at Julies (Julie do you have the recipe) but I am not sure who made them. I need to get in more protein so I am trying to think of some snack ideas that I can change out. Any other ideas would be welcome as I cannot do the shakes I have tried and no matter which ones I have they bother my stomach. weird... Well THANK YOU!!!!!!

Just a thought, Since all the protein is in the egg white...what about adding a few egg whites to the yolk mix...of course using FF or LF Mayo. (The yellow is PURE cholesterol, not too sure about the calories of the yolk.)
But going back to the egg white, if you cooked another egg or 2, and then pureed just the egg white, then added it to the yolk mixture before putting it back into the egg, maybe that could help? Otherwise I would suggest Unflavored Protien powder mixed in with the yolk/mayo.
Let me know if you come across a good receipe.
I started back on the shakes today, but added a Tbsp of Peanut butter in the Choc, it gave it a different taste...not like a Resees, but a twinge that was needed to perk up my taste buds! Now all I need is to find that Peanut butter powder that is high in Protein and LOW in calories....ANGEEELLLLAAAAAAAAA!!!!

hahaha...you're talking about PB2 and you can order it from www.bellplantation.com I love my PB2!!!!!!! and now they have chocolate PB2. Its awesome in a fruit dip or added to protein shakes. I'm also experimenting with it in making some sugar free no flour cookies or cakes. No earth shattering recipes yet, but I will be sure to post if I come up with something great!

Hey D!!!!!!
I make mine just by boiling the eggs,  then halving them and putting the yolks into a seperate bowl. Then I take the yolks, add a bit of FF mayo and some no sugar added sweet relish (I just eye it). You can also add a bit of mustard (very little!) to the mixture if you like it a bit tangier and then spoon it back into the eggs. Viola! Simple and fast deviled eggs.  I like to sprinkle some paprika over the top of them as well, but thats up to you.

How are you doing? You really should text or call me some time, its been FOREVER!

Hey D!

Yup, those were my deviled eggs alright! Yummy, huh?

I boil the eggs for 10 minutes. Run under cold water while I peel them (the shells come off so much easier).

I take the yolks out and put them into a bowl. I actually use my Tupperware chopper. You can put use a processor or a fork).

I add light Mayo (I hate FF) a spoonful at a time until I get the desired consistency.

I add a little regular mustard to taste, celery salt and a bit of seasoned salt. Just be careful how much salt you use. Add it slowly and keep taste-testing.

I put all the yolk mixture into a plastic baggie. Squish out the air and ziploc closed. Then I make a small cut into a corner and use it like a pastry bag by squeezing the yolk into the egg white halves. It's so much easier than using teaspoons. And...it looks nice.

Then I just garnish them with a little paprika! You know, to look purrdy-like!

Enjoy!

Love you!
