Trouble hooking up Wii
You should have 3 inputs on your tv - video (yellow), right channel (red), left channel (white) and these should correspond with the cables that come with the Wii.
Your tv remote should have an input button that will let you switch over to the source the Wii is hooked on. On newer tvs you should have Auxillary, Component, and HDMI inputs. On older tvs you should have tuner and auxillary inputs. If your tv is older than the Wii plugs into the Auxillary, if your tv doesn't have a slot for the three wires that come out of your Wii then your VCR should and you can hook it up through there and switch your VCR to Auxillary.
Hope this helps, I had my husband explain it to me while I typed. I always have him hook up everything, and we have the Wii, PS3, and XBox 360 running off my tv. I know how to turn my Wii on but always forget where he has the others running through. As long as I can do Wii Fit I'm good.
hi,
I will have to give that a try tomorrow. I just got home from my fathers funeral. I had a hard time with it as it was a milatary funeral and I was crying so much esp when they presented me with the flag.
I am glad my Dad is at peace now.
But I hope I can get this wii hooked up. My TV only has 2 inputs a yellow and a white. But my VCR has the three, so I can hook it up to the VCR?
Claudia
I know you don't know me, but I just wanted to send you my thoughts. Take care and I hope i get to know you. Eldy
I want to thank everybody for your condolances. I have not been on these boards for so long. I have been having such a hard time with my Dad's illness.
I have been eating all the wrong things and gaining weight. I know don't yell at me. I need to get back on track today. My dad was so proud of me when I lost all that wait. So in his memory I need to get the weight off again, at least some of it.
Thanks again,
Claudia
Hi Claudia,
I'm sorry to hear about your Dad. I hear ya about the Military Funerals. They can be tough. My deepest sympathy to you and your family.
You're in the right place as far as getting back on track goes. Try some meetings too. They are really helpful. If you want the list of all the support group meetings in Rhode Island, email me at [email protected]. I'll be happy to send them to you.
God Bless!
