5 1/2 months out and getting hungry...
Hey Everyone!
Hope your holidays were wonderful! Mine certainly was!
Here is my question:
I started my period early last week and typically get a migraine during that time. This time I got three of them! I also experienced three sugar drop**** me pretty fast...I knew I had to eat something so I chose 1 pc of ham, 1 pc of cheese, and about 10 cheeze its. This is the first time since the surgery that this has happened. With the holidays and weather, I have not worked out in about 2 1/2 weeks and I have traded in the majority of my water for tea with lots of equal in it. Other than that, all is status quo. Any ideas??
Thanks!
Marie

There is nothing wrong with you feeling like that. I eat about 6 meals a day ..mini ones, but I graze all of the time. Remember you are not absorbing some of the food so don't feel bad. I get these drops and I also get very tired when I eat more carbs and sugar than my body can handle at once and I get real tired. But thats the gastric by pass.
When I get these drops and my pouch feels really empty I also try to eat nuts or peanuts..that seems to make me feel better.

I get that way too Marie. Once in a while I just start shaking uncontrollably and get light headed and know that I need to eat something. Usually within a few minutes of getting something into my system I start to feel better.
Also I'm not a migraine sufferer, but since my surgery I suffer from really bad PMS so maybe its just your body changing. I never experienced PMS before surgery but now its awful! I get terrible cramps, I want to eat non stop for about a week and a half, I'm extremely moody and my periods are extremely heavy. While going through my history and info with the plastic surgeon we got into this topic and the response I got was more or less welcome to the normal world..lol
