Hello all,
just wondering what everyone is having for Christmas.
I'm feeling kinda left out this year, because I can't eat all this good stuff I am making LOL
I want to live vicariously through others who are able to eat real food so I can see what I can eat next Christmas LOL

We are having brunch tomorrow so I am making

french toast casserole
breakfast casserole
hash
omelets
orange juice
muffins
fruit
bacon
sausage
I think that's it..

I'm cooking right now, for Christmas Eve dinner...we are having

Roast Beef, oven roasted red potatoes, roasted broccoli with garlic, salad, crescent rolls...and whatever everyone is bringing for dessert.

Merry Christmas!

Our menu for Christmas dinner was almost the same as yours.  I could not eat the prime rib.  I really tried but ended up in the bathroom bringing it up.  I tried twice and twice the same thing happned.  Do you have any problems with this type of beef?  I had no problem with anything else but this type of beef.

Sorry to hear you had problem with the prime rib.  Since I had the band and not RNY, I don't really have trouble eating anything, unles I don't chew it well enough, then it sometimes feels stuck.  Happy New Year to you!

Revision on 05/20/15 with
I'm going to my sister's house for lunch tomorrow and then my MIL for dinner.

My sister will be having turkey & all the fixings and I am making the desserts.  I plan to have:
3 oz of turkey with a little gravy
1 tblsp mashed potato
1 tblsp stuffing (my step-mom's homemade chourico stuffing)
a little bit of peas or corn

For dessert I am making a sugar-free pie; trying to replicate the low-fat pineapple pie that Gregg's sells but mine will be sugar free vanilla pudding with pinapple packed in splenda and a little bit of the french vanilla coolwhip on top.  I am also making cookies and pies for everyone else but I can't touch them.

At my MIL she bought ham and all the fixings from Venus deMilo.  I plan to have:
3 oz ham
peas or corn
maybe some pickles

All the side dishes are from Venus which has great food, but they are loaded with butter and cream and high calories and I'm just not interested.

Breakfast will probably be a CIB.
