Older or Younger?

Since losing a large amount of weight do you think you look older or younger than the way you looked before surgery?

I have a lot of people say "you look younger" or "you look older" - I've heard both so I'm not really sure where I stand.  When I look at myself I dont recognize what I see so it's hard for me to tell how old I look from an objective point of view...

So, what do you think about me?  Do I look older or younger than I did before?  (I'm 25 by the way)

What do you think about yourself?  Older or younger?

Maybe in saying older, they mean more mature -and younger they mean more vibrant/happy.

I think you look beautiful - younger or older!!!

Often fat infantalizes people - giving them a cherub appearance - which in turn the surgery may make them look older because they no longer have the chub.

It also can make people look younger because they look more vibrant - less tired.  More people will put more effort into themselves because they feel good - making them seem more youthful.

I have a baby face - even when I was skinny for that brief period I was double carded at night clubs - refused alchohol beverages at restaurants - with proper ID!!!

When I was 24,  I had my daughter out (2 months old) and my boss was out with her husband and I saw them at a store. Later on he asked her who the 13 yr old with the baby was and how did she know me!!!   The running joke at work is I am barely legal - I will be 28 in two weeks!!!

I hope I will lose the chubby face and look older!!!

I agree - being overweight does give you, us, that cherub look.  What you said makes sense!  I cant believe you were carded and refused a drink - thats too funny!!!

Yeah at the restaurant they actually told me that they thought I stole my older sisters ID and was using it - I was so pissed.  I was like great theory I don't have an older sister!

I wonder what will happen once I start losing weight and look nothing like my ID!!!

I knew you where 25.  So hard to say.  I think because you act  older  not like some of the air head 25 year old I know  I think you are older.   I think you look great.  I know my mom was here  not that long ago and i was shower her pictures and she was trying to fix you up with my nephew.  I told her that would not work. She was like why not he cute she cute. lol.  I said  his name is JOE. lol...  she was like ahhhh  all the good one are taken.   So if my mom thought you looked good enough for her grandson then you look great.  You go girl.

As for me everyone said I look like I did when I was in my late  20's to earlly 30's .  I even feel that way.  Until I shoveled this weekend.  Then I was reminded very FAST  " YOUR 45  NUT CASE." LOL......

I think that I am starting to look OLDER . I am 39 and now seeing wrinkles of a 49 year old!!!!
I also think that the fat chubs out your face (along with everything else) I am hoping that exercise will tighten everything up...anyone know where I can get barbells for my eyelids?????
