Question about birth control and WLS

Hi Everyone,

I was wondering if any of you are on birth control before, during or after WLS? I have been having very heavy periods and got all kinds of tests done. Everything is normal. I was thinking of starting on the pill because you are not able to get pregnant for at least a year after surgery. I was just wondering what peoples' experiences have been with this? Thanks, Robyn

I was on it before and after with no strange side effects.

Thanks Danielle. I was worried, but if you had no probs, I think I might look into it.
